Warnings

The alert arrives while you can still change the flight.

Each jurisdiction carries its own warning margin. Cross into it and the tracker tells you, in plain words, how many days are left and what the next one costs you.

  • · Counted against that country’s tax year, not a generic calendar
  • · Projected crossing date while a trip is still open
  • · Schengen flagged as an immigration limit, never as tax

WatchSchengen Area · immigration

You have 18 days left in the Schengen 90/180 window.

72 of 90 days used since 20 March 2026. This is a visa limit, not a tax test — it is never mixed into your residency count.

You have 44 days left before triggering UK statutory residence.

139 of 183 days used. The UK also applies a ties test, so review the count with your adviser well before the limit.

01

Rules per jurisdiction, not one global 183

Each country carries its own tax-year start, day-count threshold and whether arrival and departure days count. The UK runs 6 April; Australia runs 1 July. The rules live in the database, so they change without you updating anything.

02

Schengen 90/180, labelled as immigration

A rolling 180-day window, counted separately from tax residency, with the exact date your allowance frees up again. Two different regimes, never mixed into one number.

03

A warning before the threshold, not after

Countries move to amber at 80% of their threshold and red once crossed, with four prior tax years kept alongside for the multi-year tests.

04
